And we're off!
This is it--today is the day I leave for Oxford. I sense that the next few hours will involve a great deal of alternating terror at being lost and boredom at sitting aroud once I've found where I'm going. All of this will be overshadowed by a vague sense that I've forgotten to pack something vital. Still, I'm excited--this time tomorrow, I'll be in Oxford, England. What could be more exciting than that?

Well, you could be in Oxford today. I bet that would be more exciting.
I was thinking about you all yesterday. I didn't know when your flight was. The family and I went for a bike ride before a crazy quick storm hit. When we were out, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. It was lovely as we rode along the river, and I told Jim and the girls, "Danika is leaving for England today!" I wonder where you are right now?
Wait...WHAT?!? I didn't know you were leaving so SOON!!! Grph. I'm going to go cuddle with Excalibur 5. HE will console me...
P.S. I responded to your first post, but apparently I hit preview instead of post. I do that on Christine's blog a lot too (Hi Christine!) and then I'm too lazy and peeved to re-post. Mostly lazy.
But mostly peeved.
And see, I'm being considerate! I'm saying peeved instead of what I really want to say. Now that's love :D
